Vault - Drawing Views Black in Visualisation Files

If you are finding the drawing views in DWF and PDF drawing visualisation files are black after checking into Vault, you may have a problem with the “Chrome Polished Black Texture”.

A work around for this is to open and check out the drawing file, then go to the “Tools” tab and select “Document Settings”. Then select the “Drawings” tab in the Document Settings window and select the drop down for the “Reflection Environment”. Select “Browse” and in the window that opens select “studio_02” texture. Next, select open and then apply and then close, once the dialog box is closed, save and check in your drawing and in the Vault application refresh the view and refresh the DWF and PDF files.

The views will now display correctly in your visualisation documents.
