AutoCAD Electrical 2018 – Blank Component Descriptions in A Bill of Materials

If you perform a Catalog Check or produce a bill of materials and the  “Description” field information is blank such as the following:

But when you edit the parts database the description information has been entered, it could be that you have added a “space” character on the end of the part number by mistake.

Simply edit the catalog database and ensure that the specific part not showing bill of material information doesn’t have a “ “ character at the end of the part number.
