MapThat – Updated Measuring Tools

One of the most popular tools within the DynamicMaps webGIS – MapThat – are the Measuring Tools. These allow users to create on the fly measurements for new Polylines/Polygons and also options to calculate values from existing geometry.

For our MapThat V3.2 release we have now added the following Measuring options: 

  • Calculate Perimeter of New Objects as you draw them

  • Snapping to existing layers and OS Mastermap as you draw new features

  • Calculate the Perimeter value for any Existing geometry

  • Identify the Length of Existing Polylines
