Cymap - Using Cymap Energy to calculate annual heating kW/hr

Within Cymap’s energy program you can calculate the energy consumption in £’s on a month by month basis which, as a standalone feature, is powerful, but what if you wanted to know the annual total consumption in kW/hr. Well the solution is detailed in a step-by-step process below.

Step 1 – In Your Project’s Energy Program Click Energy:

Step 2 - Find Your Annual Total:

As you can see above the annual total is the sum of each month of the year and spit between Heating, Cooling, Lights and Equipment. Highlight the heating column, Copy and Paste into a spreadsheet.

Step 3 – In Edit General Plant Find Your Fuel Price

Step 4 - Divide your annual heating total only by your fuel price

Answer to this example is 84575 KW/hr/ per annum.
