Cymap - Changing the default auto-connect distance

Within Cymap you can auto-connect outlets, emitters and grills to sections of pipework or ductwork without the labour of doing this manually.

The default auto-connect feature is set at 1.0 meters away from the closest run, and as you can see from the ducting example screen shot below this exceeds that default.

If you go to the View and Measure command or hit F12, we can measure the distance from the grill to the duct run and adjust the default as per the result:

Now, go to Edit, Auto-connect Grilles and adjust the default from 1.0 to 3.0 for autonomous connection from the above supply grilles to the supply duct.

As you see below the auto feature has connected all remaining 7 grilles and the system is now ready to calculate.
