Question:

Why are the results values not appearing in the MapThat Search Panel?

Answer:

There are two reasons why the results panel for a MapThat Search layer may have missing values –

1 – Ensure the Information Bubble associated to the Search Layer has one FIELD set to USE in SIMPLE SEARCH. MapThat will then use the values in that field to show in the results panel.

2 – Also, ensure that the Information Bubble to be used for the Search Layer has the relationship between the ROLE > LAYER > BUBBLE defined. To do this, edit the layer and choose the ROLE LAYER BUBBLE tab to add/associate ROLES to the Bubble.

If the Layer does not have a Bubble associated to the ROLE that logs in, the search will run, but the results panel will show no values in the results, because it does not know which field to use.

But if the ROLE LAYER BUBBLE is associated correctly the Results panel will now display the values.
