Did You Know?
You don’t have to be a CAD expert to view a Revit Model with DynamicAim.
How:
Using DynamicAIM you can quickly search for any Revit Models in your asset library. Use the quick search tool on the banner toolbar.
Remember – the quick search tool will allow you to search for any asset, building or document within your DynamicAIM platform.
Alternately, simply navigate to the Site and Building of interest and view the full list of Assets, Images, Documents and BIM Models.
For this specific Site, we have 4 Revit Models, and they can either be viewed in the Dynamic or Full Screen View.
The Dynamic View will open the Revit Model into the left-hand side of the current AIM window where you will have a smaller Model which you can navigate around.
The Full Screen View will open the Revit Model into a full window, where it may be easier to navigate around the Model.
Once open you can then use the navigation tools to zoom and pan around the Revit Model.
Even being able to enter the Model in first person to walk around the inside of your Revit Model.
Where you can start to use the Revit Tools such as the Measure Tool, to take measurements without needing to use complex CAD software or without needing to visit that actual site!
In another ‘Did You Know?’ we will explore using the Markup tool in DynamicAIM to markup changes to these Models to share with your Project team.
