Did You Know?
Using DynamicAIM you can easily upload any document and Autodesk file.
How?
DynamicAIM provides a fully interactive interface to view and navigate to any of your organisation’s assets. If you have any Site, Building or Asset files to upload into your DynamicAIM repository then follow these simple steps below:
1 – Find the file on your PC which you wish to upload. In this example the file we are uploading is an AutoCAD Drawing saved in PDF format.
2 – In DynamicAIM Search for and open the Site, Building or Asset that the file is related to. In this example the AutoCAD Drawing PDF is a plan showing the Cadline Ltd > Gatwick Site > Gatwick Head Office Building - floor plan.
So, in DynamicAIM we can see below that we have navigated to the correct Site (Gatwick) and the appropriate Building (Gatwick Head Office).
3 – Now decide the best location (or folder) to upload the floor plan PDF document into. Remember you can always create a new FOLDER if a current one does not exist. In this example we will upload the AutoCAD Dwg floor plan PDF file into the Images folder.
On the right-hand side of the Folder name choose the Three Dots and from the list choose the Upload Files option.
Choose Select files and find the PDF floor plan or drag the PDF file into the Select File window.
Once the Success message is shown, the file will have been uploaded into DynamicAIM and will be available from within the Images folder. You should press the refresh button to allow the system to refresh the list of uploaded files.
You can now choose to either view the AutoCAD DWG Floor plan in Dynamic View….
or Full Screen.
The Upload tool allows you to easily find any relevant AutoCAD or Site/Building/Asset Document, including but not limited to the below, and store them for easy access within your DynamicAIM web portal:
- O&M Manuals
- Commissioning Reports
- Online Video Tutorials
- AutoCAD DWG files
- 360 Point Cloud Scans
- 3D Laser Scans
- Revit Models
- Navisworks Models
- BIM Models
