Did You Know?
Using DynamicAIM you can view 3D O&M Manuals to learn how to replace the components on an asset e.g. a Hot Water Pump.
How?
DynamicAIM provides a fully interactive interface to view and navigate to any of your organisation’s assets and their related documents and manuals. In this example we have used the Quick Search tool to find a Hot Water Pump.
At Asset level, DynamicAIM provides a list of all files associated to the chosen asset. e.g.
- Warranty Documents
- Commissioning Reports
- Maintenance Information
As well as viewing static asset documents, you can also use DynamicAIM to view online 3D O&M manuals. In this example we will choose to view the 3D O&M manual in a Dynamic View.
Once loaded the 3D O&M manual will render to the left inside the DynamicAIM browser.
Using the Expand button (in the bottom right) you can choose to view the Resources, Documents and Instructions in plain text. This can provide a step by step set of instructions for maintaining the asset….. as well as a list of required parts for each step.
Clicking the Expand button again, will shrink the text window and render the 3D video to the right. Using the PLAY button, we can then view the steps required for each Instruction stage.
The Preview Mode will provide a full video showing each instruction step. As the video plays, the Instruction details will auto change on the left with the details of the new instruction/requirements etc… as the video on the right shows the actual work.
Or choose Job Mode, and then each instruction step is broken down into mini videos, where you will need to choose the Sign Off button to move forward to the next instruction.
So, before your engineers go onsite - why not utilise DynamicAIM to view your 3D O&M instruction manuals for your assets. Your engineers can quickly search to find any asset at any building and run through the text instructions and online videos to practice replacing components or making repairs – saving them time while on site.
