DynamicAIM – Configure Tools per User

Within DynamicAim you can choose to configure Tools per User.

How?

If you have Admin rights within DynamicAIM simply choose the Users tab to view and then edit the access options for your Users.

Using the Tools window on the right, you can tick (show) and untick (hide) the tools that you wish each user to have access to.

For example, for this Test User we will untick all options apart from the Download Documents tool.

Once you have made the changes choose the Red Save button at the top of the Users list.

When this User now logs into DynamicAIM and navigates to view the Documents and Folders at Building level, we can see that the only tool available is now the Download Document tool….

… all other tools such as Edit Document, Delete Document, Markups, Document Linking, Edit Hyperlink, Rename Folders etc… are hidden, so no longer available for this user.

This enables you to manage your DynamicAIM Users so that you can control who can edit, upload and delete your Building and Assets files.
