CadSHARE – Favourite AutoCAD Drawings

Using CadSHARE you can mark your favourite AutoCAD Drawings to easily find them within your SharePoint repository.

How?

CadSHARE is a plugin tool for AutoCAD and allows you to store, retrieve, update and manage all your organisations AutoCAD Drawing Files in your SharePoint repository.

To Add or View your Favourite Drawing files (.DWGs) from your SharePoint instance, choose the Open tool.

The CadSHARE Open window will appear….

… where you can choose to view & create favourites.

Using the CadSHARE Open window, navigate to a Folder in SharePoint where you have stored lots of your DWGs.

Now use the Add Favourite button to set this chosen folder as a favourite.

You will be asked to enter a description for the Shortcut location, in this example we have called the shortcut – Shortcut to Project 1. Press Ok and the new shortcut is created.

Having created a Favourite location, you can quickly jump to that location using the Favourites button.

Once pressed, the Favourites button will open a new window with a list of your favourite locations. Select the Favourite from the list and choose Show Location.

The CadSHARE Open window will now auto navigate to that shortcut location and list all your favourite AutoCAD Drawing files.

CadSHARE is therefore the perfect plugin to enable you to mark your favourite AutoCAD Drawing files, so you can quickly find them again!
