DynamicAIM – Plant 3D Models

Did You Know?

DynamicAim can now open Plant 3D Models.

How?

Navigate to the Site that contains the Plant 3D Model….

… and then choose the relevant building by pressing the Open button. At Building level, we can then see the Asset and Building level documents listed on the right-hand side.

In this example the Plant 3D Model is stored in the Plant 3D Model folder. Open this folder and we can then choose to view the Plant 3D Model in either Dynamic View or Full Screen.

The Dynamic View will open the Plant 3D Model into the left-hand side of the current AIM window where you will have a smaller Model which you can navigate around.

If you wish to view the Model in a large view, choose the Full Screen button.

The Plant 3D Model will then open into Full Screen.

You can now navigate through the Model using the mouse to pan, zoom and walk through in first person.

Using the Measure tool you can undertake measurements in the x,y,z axis.

In addition, using the Properties button you click on individual items in the Model and see extra information about that asset/component.
