Cables or bus-bars that are the internal connections for a distribution switch panel need not appear in the ‘Schedules’ or the ‘Bill of Quantities’ reports. This can cause confusion when matching the ‘real’ cables on the schematic with the cables in the schedules & reports.

Cables & bus-bars can now be marked as Internal Panel Wiring to omit them from the Schedules etc.

In the Cable Entry dialog there is a new check box:

In the screenshot below, the switch panel’s bus-bars (labelled 'Internal 1-8') have been set accordingly in the Cable Entry dialog, by ticking the ‘Internal Panel Wiring’ checkbox.

Consequently, they will be excluded from all the reports etc.

In the Schedule for the above distribution, you can see that just the 7 sub-mains cables are included.
All the internal bus-bars for the switch panel are not included.
