MEPworx Wiring - Revised SPD requirements in Section 534.4.4

With the removal of section 443.5 from Amendment 2 (risk assessment to protect against transient overvoltages), the selection process for Surge Protection Devices (SPDs) in section 534.4.4 has been greatly simplified

When setting up new Wiring projects, in the Edit-General dialog on the Over Voltage tab, the options have been simplified and the default is set to Other.

Consequently, when setting up a new 18^th Ed Amendment 2 Wiring project, you will be advised to set up an SPD.

When performing a calculation on your project, if an SPD has not been set up or the wrong type has been selected, there will be an Error Message on the main supply cable.
