MEPworx Wiring – Mobile Stationary Equipment and RCD requirements

When a final circuit rated at 32A or less is set up as ‘Stationary Equipment’ and the ‘Mobile Equip’ box is checked, a 30mA RCD will automatically be applied to the circuit.

As in the requirements of 411.3.3 (iii).

If for any reason the RCD is later removed from the circuit but the circuit conditions remain unchanged, i.e. it is still ≤32A and marked as Mobile Equipment, there will be a red error message on the circuit informing the engineer that an RCD is required.
