Did You Know?

Using RevitSHARE you can view and update the Properties of Revit files in your SharePoint repository.

How?

RevitSHARE is a plugin tool for Revit and allows you to store, retrieve, update and manage all your organisations Revit Files in your SharePoint repository.
If there is a file that you wish to view the Properties of, simply select it from the list > right click and choose Properties.

Using the Value field, you can update some of the Properties, such as the field called Title.

Once you have edited the Properties choose the Save button and a message will confirm that the Properties have been updated.

If we now view the same Revit file in SharePoint, we can see that the Title value has been updated accordingly.

You may have a column in your SharePoint that is not currently listed in the Properties pane. For example, in this SharePoint site we have a field called Comments.

To add this as a Tag in the RevitSHARE Properties pane choose the Edit Property Display box.

This will open a list of the available SharePoint fields. The ones ticked are already available within the Properties pane.

Scroll down the list to find the new field – Comments. Tick this field so that it will be added for display and press OK.

The new field – Comments – is now added to the Property list, so we can now enter a value or update any existing values for this field and press Save to commit the changes.
