RevitSHARE – Favourite Revit Files

Using RevitSHARE you can easily add and find your Favourite Revit Files.

How?

To Add or View your Favourite RVT files from your SharePoint instance, choose the Open tool.

The Open window will appear, where you can choose to view & create favourites.

Navigate to a Folder in SharePoint where you have stored lots of your Revit files.

Now use the Add Favourite button to set this chosen folder as a favourite.

You will be asked to enter a description for the Shortcut location, in this example we have called the shortcut – Shortcut to Project 1. Press Ok and the new shortcut is created.

Having created a Favourite location, you can quickly jump to that location using the Favourites button.

Once pressed, the Favourites button will open a new window with a list of your favourite locations. Select the Favourite from the list and choose Show Location.

The Open window will now auto navigate to that shortcut location.

If you wish to manage your favourites to remove unwanted favourites, then choose the Favourites button.

The list of favourites will then be shown. Select the Favourite that you wish to remove > and choose Delete.

The chosen Favourite location will be removed from the list of favourites.

The RevitSHARE plugin therefore provides your users with options to create and quickly view their favourite Revit Files!
