MEPworx Lighting – Find and Replace Luminaire

It can be quite common that you need to change the type of light fitting being used in a design project, for an alternative fitting/luminaire. This function allows you to locate an instance of one type of light fitting within the project and replace it with another type of light fitting.

First, select the light fitting/luminaire to be changed. The selection will be confirmed when the fitting changes to purple.

Next, from the Edit menu, select the Find and Replace function.

When the Find & Replace Luminaire dialog appears, the previously selected light fitting will be shown as the Luminaire to Replace.

Use the pull-down for the Replacement Luminaire to select the new fitting type and then click on ‘OK’ to confirm the change.
After the selection has been confirmed and applied, the program will advise you of how many fittings have been changed.
