Did You Know?

Using RevitSHARE you can easily search for and find any Revit File in your SharePoint repository.

How?

RevitSHARE is a plugin tool for Revit and allows you to store, retrieve, update and manage all your organisations Revit Files in your SharePoint repository.

To search for a Revit File from your SharePoint instance, choose the Open tool.

The Open window will appear, where you can choose to view & create favourites, search for files and view recent files.

You may have numerous Revit Files within your SharePoint directory and it can be very difficult to know where they are stored! To help with this, RevitSHARE provides a Search option where your users can simply type the name (or partial name) of the Revit file and run a quick search!

In the RevitSHARE Open window, choose the Search magnifying glass

… and a popup will appear where you can type a Search value - using the full or partial Revit filename. In this example we will search for the keyword ‘rename’.

Having entered the search value press Search All, and the results will be returned in the Results window below.

Having found your Revit File, simply select it from the Results list > choose Open Selected and that Revit File will be opened into Revit.

The RevitSHARE plugin therefore provides your users with an intuitive yet powerful search option to find those all-important missing Revit Files!
