Answer:

Yes, the Drawing tools in MapThat enable you to create and also edit multi geometry records.

Having created multi part geometry you can update those records to delete any part of the geometry using the new DELETE PART tool.

You can delete each part of multi geometry associated to a record, but will be prompted when trying to delete the remaining part of geometry – this is a a failsafe to ensure you don’t inadvertently delete the whole record.
