MapThat – Map Full Screen

The DynamicMaps team is pleased to announce a new update to – MapThat – a new tool which allows you to expand the map window into full screen mode!

So, if you open a map layer which covers a large area, such as the LSOA’s for England and Wales… currently the map window is embedded within the MapThat Browser.

Now, in the bottom left corner of the map window is the toggle Full Screen tool.

Once pressed, the map window of MapThat will expand into full screen mode…

.. so now you can pan and zoom the map window with the map in Full Screen.

You can also click on map features and return the Information Bubble for those map features while in Full Screen mode.

When you have finished in Full Screen mode, you can either click on the toggle Full Screen button again…

… or you can choose the Close button from the top middle of the screen.

The map returns to be embedded inside MapThat.
