Address & Street Management – Numbered Streets (Unlink Multiple ESUs)

In this ‘How To’ tutorial, we will learn how to Manage Numbered Streets in the DynamicMaps Address & Street Management Application.

When editing the geometry of a Named Street that is associated to a Numbered Street you must consider how changing the geometry of the Named Street will affect the associated Numbered Street.

Unlink Multiple ESUs from a Numbered Street

If you wish to remove multiple parts of a Numbered Street it is possible to unlink multiple ESU records at the same time. For example for the Numbered Street - B226 - we will remove any ESUs that are on Charlesfield (Street). 

In the Numbered Streets page, choose the Street Xref tab and find the ESUID(s) that you wish to remove, then tick the box to their left.

At the top of the list press the Unlink selected record button…

… and then press OK to the warning message.

The list of ESUIDs is then reduced accordingly… in this case to only 11.

And the map shows that the ESUs on Charlesfield Street have now been removed from the Numbered Street geometry.
