Address & Street Management – Create Multiple LPI Records

Question:

Is it possible to create Multiple LPI records in the Cadline Address & Street Management Application?

Answer:

Yes!.... follow the steps below using the Multi BLPU/LPIs button.

Having created a new BLPU or when editing an existing BLPU, if there are multiple LPI Records required for the same Street, you can use the Multi BLPU/LPI button in the LPI section to create a range of new LPI records.

Having clicked the Multi BLPU/LPI button, a popup window will check that you have saved any pending changes to the Address record before you continue.

Choose OK and the Multi LPI window appears, which allows you to create both SAO and PAO copies of the chosen LPI record.

Note – if creating multiple Child records, you should choose Create SAO copies of LPI and if you are creating multiple Parent records you should choose the Create PAO copies option.

Complete the popup as required, for example if you are creating multiple SAON’s for a block of flats at the same location, or if you require multiple PAON’s for addresses at different locations. In this case we will add separate PAON’s - along this same Street.

• Tick the Create PAON option
• Choose From (house number) To (house number)

• Press Go and the new record/s will be created

If you now undertake an Address Search using the Street Name, you can see the New Address records have now been created.
