Format the Display of Fields - AutoCAD

When using fields in AutoCAD it has a default grey colour behind it. Can I turn that off?

Answer

Yes this can be disabled by typing FIELDDISPLAY on the command line and setting this to 0. Sometimes it is better to have it left on as other users may not know that the text is a field and overwrite it with standard text!
