MapThat – Basemap Ordering

Question:

Is it possible to define the order that Basemaps are shown in the Basemap Picker?

Answer:

Yes, in the latest version of MapThat the administrator can control the order that Basemaps are shown per Project using the MapThat Admin Console. Where you can choose the Basemap Order for each basemap 1,2,3,4,.. etc..

In this example we have set Google Hybrid to be the first Basemap shown in the list…. And when we open MapThat we can see that Google Hybrid is listed first!

Note – if you have categorised your basemaps,.. then the ordering will only re-order the basemaps in their category.
