Polyline Edit Command - AutoCAD

Question

A limitation of the “Join” command is the need for the objects to be in line with one another or share the same radii and centre points; how do I join objects that don’t meet these criteria?

Answer

You can use the Polyline edit or PEDIT command and use its Join modifier. Set the variable PEDITACCEPT to a value of 1 to remove the annoying “Do you want to turn it into one?” question that pops up during Polyline editing. Note, double-clicking on a Polyline no longer initiates the Properties Palette, instead it goes straight to PEDIT mode so you can edit Polylines directly
