Inventor 2012 Hangs on Exit

Question

My Inventor Crashes when I close a file, what should I do?

Answer

Go to Tools - Add-in manager, right click and select “Show Hidden”

Find - “Simulation: Optimization” and uncheck ""Automatic start""

This solution will only work on PC’s running Inventor Optimisation, and is generally caused by a slow internet connection
