Placing Doors In Linked Models - Revit

I have tried placing a door opening in the wall of the Architects linked model but it will not place it. Why will it not allow me to do this?

Answer
When you link a model you cannot place a door, or door opening, in a wall. The only way you can do this is to either create a new wall inside your model or create a door that is not hosted to a wall.
