Grey Funnel on Revit Screen

I have notices there is a grey funnel in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Sometimes it has a “0” next to it, and sometimes it has a number. What is it?

Answer
This is the selection filter funnel. This indicates how many elements are currently selected. This is useful to identify duplicate elements on top of one another.
