MapThat Scale Print Admin – List Index Out of Range

Question:

When I run a print job I get an error message in the log file stating - List Index out of Range – what is the cause of this?

Answer:

The likely cause of this issue is that the QGIS Scale Print Templates cannot be found.

These Scale Print template files are saved as .QPT and are generally saved into your MTPlotting\MTSProgramsOS\ folder e.g.

These templates are used to create the Scale Print Plots and are referenced using the MapThat Scale Print Control table – MT_LOV_TITLE_BLOCKS. There should be a record for each of the choices that the user has when they select the Paper Size and Orientation.

The value in the LOCATION field must match the physical location and name of a QGIS .QPT template on the server. If the location and name do not match, then the print job will fail and generate the List Index Out of Range message in the error/log file.
