Question:

How do you dock the floating panels in PGAdmin?

Answer:

If you have moved a window/panel in your PGAdmin console - e.g. the Data Table – you will find that even if you close the panel and open a new one, the panel is still floating where you left it last!

To resolve this, you can simply hold the left mouse button down over the TEXT/TITLE of the floating panel to pick the panel up and move it.

If you move the floating panel around the screen a blue box will appear behind the panel to show where the panel will be docked if you drop it.

The panel can be dropped so that it is tiled horizontally and vertically.

You can also separate the unique elements. E.g. you can dock the Data Output, Notifications, Messages and Explain windows on top of each other as separate TABs.

Or into four separate panels.
