Removing the start-up splash screen for AutoCAD

This is a common question often asked by users who want to save 2-3 seconds on application start-up.

Question:

How to I turn off the splash Autodesk screen when AutoCAD starts?

Answer:

Edit the AutoCAD desktop shortcut and add a /nologo switch to the command string.

It should read like the following;

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2020\acad.exe"  /product ACAD /language "en-US /nologo"
