Question:

How can you change the colour shown when hovering over a map feature in MapThat?

Answer:

In MapThat if you display a spatial layer, points, lines or polygons, the user is shown a hover over style when they hover over those map features.

But what if you wish to change the colour, width or maybe you might not wish to show the hover style?

In our latest version of MapThat we now allow your Administrator to make the following changes per LAYER:

  • Choose the Hover Colour
  • Choose the width of the Hover Colour
  • Choose not to show a Hover Style

For example, we could change the line thickness of the hover line to be thicker or thinner.

And change the colour used for the Hover style.

The next time that MapThat opens and the user hovers over a map object the Hover Style changes.

You can even set the Hover Line Thickness to zero and remove the Hover Colour…..

….and the layer will not show any hover style over the map objects!
