Address & Street Management – Search by Locality

Question:

Is it possible to search for all Addresses in a specific Locality in the Cadline Address & Street Management Application?

Answer:

Yes, you can search for an Address using any of the following options:

• UPRN (and Parent UPRN), USRN, Ward Name, Classification
• Sao and Pao
• BLPU, LPI Logical Status
• Classification
• Easting & Northing
• Street Descriptor
• Locality Name
• Town Name

From the Address menu in the Cadline Address & Street Management Application…

… the Address Search tool will be shown.

Choose the Plus icon to reveal the full list of Search options.

In this example, we will search for all Addresses within a specific Locality. Clicking the Locality drop down box will list all the individual Locality areas for your local authority.

Choose the preferred Locality from the list….e.g., Catford.

and then choose the Go button to run the Address search.

The results of the search will be shown in the table of Addresses. Here we can see that there are 5204 result records returned.

.. and each Address record has the Locality value of Catford.

The Locality search is a very quick way to find all Addresses that are in a specific geographic region , in this case Locality, within your LLPG.
