Can you create Dashboards within MapThat?

Answer:

In MapThat there are several ways to present data and stats to your users, including:

  • Information Bubbles

  • the Data Table

  • a MyCommunity Tool

….. and also, why not use the MapThat LABEL Layers to present statistical information in a dashboard style for your layers!

The map below shows a Grounds Maintenance site location, where we have exploded the central site point to create 4 displaced points around the edges. These displaced points are then used to show a label related to an attribute of that Site.

The labels show:

  • the Maintenance Cost to mange to the site
  • the number of Vehicles at the site
  • the number of Machinery at the site
  • a count of assets and equipment held at the site

If we move to another site this time a Plant Room, the user can then view the dashboard statistics for that site location.

Using MapThat labels you can create a high-powered dashboard style map, where your users don’t need to interrogate the data manually, instead the map presents the core information immediately and changes as you move from site to site.
