DynamicMaps - Address & Street Management – Searching NLPG

Question:

Is it possible to search for records in the National Land and Property Gazetteer using the Address & Street Management Application?

Answer:

Yes, the DynamicMaps Address & Street Management Application has a NLPG module which allows you to easily find address records in the national database.

From the NLPG module in the left pane, choose Search NLPG UK …

.. and the main webpage opens to show the NLPG Search records page.

Click the plus button to the left of the Search window to open the Search options…

In the first example, we will search for NLPG addresses using a Street Name.. for example, Trentham Close... having typed the Street Name choose Go and the search will run.

The results will list all NLPG addresses with the same Street Name. In this case there are multiple duplicate Street Names within the NLPG located in different towns.

Instead, let’s Reset the Search options, and this time Search using a Postcode value … e.g. NN4 0WB…

Having ran the search, the results now list all the Address Properties which share the same Postcode and therefore we have found all addresses on this one road.
