Flex tokens were introduced a few years ago, replacing Cloud Credits which enabled users to utilise a range of products and services.

The Flex token model is best suited for occasional users who can:

  • Buy tokens to access a wide range of Autodesk products.
  • Use tokens to access a product for 24 hours at a time or to generate a result.
  • Assign as many users as you want to Flex and manage which products they can access.

If using Autodesk software on a frequent basis, is it generally best to buy an Autodesk subscription.

I was recently asked about Token usage, specifically on Revit, but it’s the same for other products such as AutoCAD as well.

The question was, if a user accidently signs into a product and then signs out right away, will tokens be charged?

The answer is no, tokens will not be charged if the user signs in and then logs out within five minutes. There is a 5 minute ‘Grace’ period.

For more information on Token licensing talk to one of the team at https://cadline.co.uk on the chat facility or contact us direct via phone or email.
