Revit: Activating Silhouettes

If you are using Hidden Lines as a Visual Style for your 3D representation, you may want to enhance the way it looks i.e. make lines or shadows have more impact. Just follow this simple procedure. Go to the Visual Styles tool bar and select Graphic Display Options.

Select Silhouettes, choose wide lines.

You can see the difference between the heavier lines, enhancing the design.
