AutoCAD - Object Snaps Overrides

To override the set “Running Object Snaps”, press either “Shift + Right Mouse Button” “Control + Right Mouse button” or select “Osnap Overrides” from the “Right Click” menu to display the menu shown in Figure 1.

From the displayed list, select the required snap. This will work as a “One Off”, but a command must be active prior to pressing “Shift+Right Click”.

NOTE:- A useful option is the third from the top “Mid Between 2 Points”. This snap doesn’t have an icon ,but if prefered can also be activated by typing “M2P” and pressing enter. This option will work with both the currently set “Running Snaps” and “Snap Overides”.
