AutoCAD 2021: Stuck in Viewport

When working with Viewports in AutoCAD, you may be zooming in and out of certain areas. Sometimes if you zoom in too far and go through the paper space viewport into model space, you can become stuck in the viewport. To solve this you need to be able to switch back out of the viewport into paper space.

You can do this in 2 ways:

- Use the keyboard command PS (PSPACE) and MS (MSPACE)     

- Turn on the MODEL/PAPER switch button in the Status Bar and simply click to toggle between them:

You may also have the situation where viewports are inside one another. Double clicking inside one will only go into the largest viewport. Use CTRL+R to cycle between the viewports:
