AutoCAD® Electrical and indeed any version of “One” AutoCAD® display messages during operation. With some of the messages, you have the option of ACElec_Hidden_Message_MN_11.JPGDo not show me this message again or similar.

Example:

It’s quite easy for a user to select the option ACElec_Hidden_Message_MN_08.JPG Do not show me this message again inadvertently. What happens if you would like to get the message(s) back?

To do this, type OPtions at the command line.

Select the System tab.

Select ACElec_Hidden_Message_MN_03.png

Select the options you wish to turn back on:

N.B. If this dialogue is empty it means you have not selected to turn off any message dialogues.

Highlighting a message will allow you to preview the message below within the dialogue:

Three examples of messages are shown below:

1. When you pick a part from the Catalog Browser, you are able to map a symbol to the part so that next time, AutoCAD® Electrical know which symbol to place:

You may have selected ACElec_Hidden_Message_MN_08.JPG Do not show me this again

2. When you link two terminals in the terminal editor by a jumper, this may have a knock on effect on the wire numbering and AutoCAD® Electrical will show the following dialogue:

You may have selected ACElec_Hidden_Message_MN_08.JPG Do not show me this again

 3. You’ve changed the part associated with a symbol to a part that doesn’t have an associated footprint.
