Issue:

It is not uncommon when working with hatches in a busy drawing for a user to remove a hatch boundary without realising. It may not be until much later when reviewing the drawing that the missing hatch boundary is spotted.

At this point it is usually too late to select undo and recreate the missing hatch boundary. Fortunately, there is a simple solution.

Solution:

Users can generate a hatch boundary from existing hatch by selecting the hatch without boundary and selecting ‘Generate Boundary’ from the right click menu.

This command will generate a new closed polyline boundary around the hatch. The polyline will be placed on the current layer.
