Constraints are a very powerful feature in Revit where rules can be set as to the positioning behaviour of objects. However, sometimes it is not obvious where those constraints have been applied. Often the constraint can be attributed to a locked dimension which later gets deleted. It is possible however to reveal hidden constraints in a highlighted colour with the rest of the model being set to halftone for clarity.

The command is located on the view control bar at the bottom of the Revit interface.

Once complete, toggle off the reveal constraints function to resume working.
