Inventor - Crossed Helical Gears

Inventor’s Design Accelerator automatically generates a pair of gears of the following types: Spur, Worm and Bevel.

For certain designs you may need to create a crossed helical gear pair. Design accelerator cannot create this automatically, but you may use two pairs of helical spur gears instead:

1. Enter the parameters for the gears, then create one of them as a Component and leave the other with No Model

2. After placing the first gear, use design accelerator again to create the second gear (same parameters).

Take note of the Center distance value as it will be needed to constrain the gears.
