Revit 2022: New Feature – Edit Profiles of Slanted Walls

The restrictions that prevented profile editing of slanted walls have been removed. Now you can edit the profile of a slanted wall in the same way that you can edit the profile of a vertical wall.

Edit Slanted Walls

Select the wall > click edit profile > use the Spline Tool to edit the profile.

Experiment with the other draw tools to edit the slanted wall profile.

After selecting the slanted wall, the slope and the angle of slope can be set in the properties palette, as shown.

This feature plus the tapered wall feature (outlined in my previous blog) are really useful enhancements in the new release of Revit 2022.
