Inventor & Vault : DWF DWFx - Object Properties

DWF and DWFx files are particularly helpful when needing to share design data with others that don’t have AutoCAD/Inventor installed.

DWF/DWFx exports for Inventor files can include iProperties (displayed in the Object Properties section in Autodesk Design Review). When exporting, you can choose specific properties, or only include properties with values.

File -> Export ->Export to DWF..

In a Vault environment where visualisation files are published by the Job Processor, component properties can be included by ticking the box below for all relevant Inventor versions (2D and/or 3D files).

Tools -> Administration -> Vault settings -> Visualization tab -> Options..
