AutoCAD Tip: Useful Enhanced Multi-Leader Add-in for Areas, Perimeter length and Coordinates

AutoCAD has many Add-ins available to make annotation tasks easier. One particularly useful Add-in is the Multi-leader+ application. This tool enhances the standard multi-leader object and will report the area, length, coordinates or volume depending upon the selection of object and the choices made in the interface.

The dialogue allows the user to change precision and scaling options, as well as layer placement and styles to be used.

In the example image above, a 2D polyline was used for room area and perimeter and coordinates. The Multi-leader+ command can be easily set to report the correct information as required.
