AutoCAD Tip: Useful add-in to offset elements at different distances

Multiple Offset is an add-in for AutoCAD that adds more options to the standard Offset command. For example, when offsetting an object multiple times with different distances, typically having to re-enter the offset command for each distance. The MOffset command addresses this issue by allowing the user to enter multiple distances before selecting object(s).

The original application was written LISP, however, MOffset has now been completely rewritten in .NET integrating the command seamlessly with standard out of the box commands.

The application itself has a palette style dialogue where different offsets can be specified and either singular or multiple entities can be selected.

Supported object types include lines, polylines, arcs, ellipses and circles. There are also options for layer placement and whether the source entity should be retained.
