AutoCAD Tip: Useful add-in to display coordinates in drawing

When working with Site plans it is often desirable to show coordinates of boundary markers and boreholes and other site features. Although this can be done with text fields and block attributes there is perhaps an easier method by making use of an add-in. SA-Label is a free add-in on the app store that performs this task.

There are two choices, either select AutoCAD point objects or use the screen click option to place a leader marker that will show the Eastings, Northing and Elevation of the reference point. Text sizing and layer can also be selected from a simple, easy to use dialogue.

This add-in works for all recent versions of AutoCAD from version 2018 up to the 2022 release.
