AutoCAD ‘s text entities when placed, tend to be positioned with a left or top left justification. Quite often it is required to have the text justified to middle centre or right centre.
The problem is, when changing the justification in the properties or editor, the text will move, meaning further corrections from overlapping graphics are required.
Having text centre justified is desirable on elements like schedules and title sheets so that the flow of annotation is from the centre of the word or paragraph and less likely to spill over linework.
However, AutoCAD has a command that will address this problem, the Justifytext command. Accessed via the command line or the annotate tabe, this command allows users to select either single line text, multiline text or both, and set the justification reference as required with the text remaining in its original position.
